As you may be aware, CMT Australia (CMTAA Inc.) held its AGM on Saturday 19th November 2022. The minutes are available here. This was preceded in September by another informative webinar, the recording of which is available to members here. One of our previous Committee stepped down at the meeting and five stayed on to serve you again for another year. Taking advantage of a clause in our constitution, I am continuing in the President’s role, in addition to my Treasurer duties. This enabled us to again accept four Committee member, and keep within our constitution limit of 7 on the Committee.

I’m very pleased that Jillian Critchley and Lisa Moore have agreed to continue their great contribution, and mostly in the roles that you are familiar with them occupying, namely Newsletter Editor, Facebook Moderator, CMT Aussie Kids Coordinator and parent group for Jillian, and Web Master and assisting with membership matters, and moving into the secretary role for Lisa. Helen Burnie is continuing in the role of Vice President with a focus on International partnerships and information sharing, Shaana Dekker continuing with her role as committee member overseeing the office opertions and Darryl Beitsch is continuing as committee member and additional role of overseeing the National Support groups. We welcome one new member to the committee –  Ellen Woodbridge, as an additional committee member. You can check out their bios here.  I would like to thank Janelle Hunter for her contribution in the previous commitee, and Eleanor Critchley, our previous Administration Assistant. Welcome also to  Anna Siddell as our new Administration Assistant. What a team!

We have an exciting year ahead, building on our achievements in the previous year. Our focus will be to further build our membership base; continue to provide our existing services; and to build on the start we have made on our full digital conversion, assisting parents and a marketing plan. We look forward to communicating our progress with you as the year progresses, and we invite you to participate in a range of ways that we will detail soon.
