Donate to CMT Australia
Many people are familiar with the opportunity to salary sacrifice part of your salary for a range of purposes such as superannuation or leasing a car. Did you know that you can also salary sacrifice through a Workplace Giving Organisation to a charity with ATO Deductable Gift Recipient status (CMT Australia).
We signed up with the Workplace Giving Organisation: Good2Give to facilitate supporters who would prefer this method of donating to our causes.
Your workplace giving donation will be immediately tax deductable, as it is treated the same as any other salary sacrifice arrangement. In addition to regular donations, it is also possible to make one-off donations. The only requirement is that your employer is signed up with Good2Give.
Good2Give manages all financial arrangements and this assists us in reducing demand on our small volunteer base.
You will receive an annual record of your donations and CMT Australia will receive a summary of donations made. Whilst there are fees associated with this, in many cases these are covered by your employer, providing further incentive to be philanthropic.
Workplace giving connects donors to charities and enables companies to support the charitable inclinations of their employees; and to be seen as good corporate citizens.
Good2Give supports over 1,300 charities. They are managed by Charities Aid Foundation Australia, a not-for-profit which focuses on streamlining donations to not-for-profits.
Log into Good2Give and select CMT Australia (CMTAA Inc) as your charity. Remember, donations can be on a regular or intermittent basis.
We look forward to your contributions, and please let others know of this facility.
