Help is needed at the office at Concord Hospital in Sydney. If you don’t live in Sydney, we have tasks that can be done remotely. Why not give our Secretary, Anycie, a call on 0406 881 220 and have a chat to see what you can do to help.

There are other ways you can volunteer for CMT Australia:

  • Encouraging donations to CMT Australia through GiveNow for fundraising events
  • Assisting at CMT Australia events
  • Do you have Marketing or Promotions experience – CMT Australia would love to have you on board to help

HELP

Become a CMT Australia State/Regional Area Coordinator or Support Group Contact

Our Area Coordinators and Support Group Contacts play an important role providing people with CMT the opportunity to share with and learn from other people who have CMT in your area.

Coordinators are available to assist people with CMT and their families with contact names for medical and allied health professionals who have experience with CMT patients.

Support Group Contacts organise meetings or ‘coffee catchups’ where ideas are shared and members are able to support each other by discussing the challenges that they face. Having someone to talk to who is also on the “CMT journey” can help you and your family cope with CMT.

Support Groups are also open to those caring for people with CMT and for parents of children with CMT. It’s all about mutual encouragement as we negotiate the many challenges that living with CMT brings. CMT Australia encourages members of our CMT “Family” to participate in these Support Groups.

If you are interested in becoming a Coordinator, or a Contact for a Support Group in your area please contact our National office
