As you may be aware, CMT Australia (CMTAA Inc.) held its AGM on Saturday 28th October 2023. The minutes are available here.  and the Presidents and Treasurer reports, and Finacial Statements can be viewed here. This was preceded in September by our inaugural hybrid conference, the recordings of which is available to members here. All of our previous Committee have stayed on to serve you again for another year. Taking advantage of a clause in our constitution, I am continuing in the President’s role, in addition to my Treasurer duties.

I’m very pleased that Jillian Critchley and Lisa Moore have agreed to continue their great contribution, and mostly in the roles that you are familiar with them occupying, namely Newsletter Editor, Facebook Moderator, CMT Aussie Kids Coordinator and parent group for Jillian, and Web Master and assisting with membership matters, and as secretary for Lisa. Helen Burnie is continuing in the role of Vice President with a focus on international partnerships and, will manage our move to establish a Pathways Telehealth Nurse. Darryl Beitsch is continuing as committee member in his role of overseeing the State Coordinators and National Support groups.  Ellen Woodbridge and Nickolas Peachey, as additional committee members will contribute to our social media and organising our 2024 National Conference. You can check out everyone’s bios here.  I would like to thank Anna Siddell our Administration Assistant, for her support in keeping the National office running, and supporting our committee in the tasks. What a team!

We have an exciting year ahead, building on our achievements in the previous year. Our focus will be to consolidate our membership base; continue to provide our existing services; bed down our digital conversion, assist parents and implement our marketing plan. On addition, we will initiate a revised Strategic Plan and trial a Pathways Telehealth Nurse program which can be accessed by our members.

We look forward to communicating our progress with you as the year progresses, and we invite you to offer your suggestions as to how we can best serve your CMT related needs, to participate in a range of ways that we will detail soon.
