Volunteers for Sydney University
As we are aware, many Allied Health Professionals have had very little experience in treating people with CMT.
There is an opportunity for people with CMT to assist final year Exercise Physiology students to gain a better understanding of CMT.
Background
Dr Che Fornusek, Senior Lecturer in the Discipline of Exercise and Sport Science is a member of our “CMT” family. He needs us to help him ensure that final year Exercise Physiology students have experience in treating people with CMT.
Format
Volunteers will have the opportunity to share their CMT challenges as they meet and talk with the students. The students will have the opportunity to assess the volunteers and suggest and demonstrate appropriate exercises for the volunteers commensurate with the stage they are at on their CMT journey.
