WHO WE ARE
As those of us who have Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT) are aware, we have it for life, and at this point in time there is no known cure.
The Charcot Marie Tooth Association Australia Inc, now known as ‘CMT Australia’ was established to support those with CMT, their families and friends, and to expand community awareness and understanding of CMT.
We are staffed entirely by volunteers.
HOW WE HELP
Significant progress is being made through worldwide collaboration, including establishing support organisations like CMT Australia, developing management strategies for those with CMT and research into the disease.
This website provides local and international information that will assist in answering many of your questions.
